T-110.5191 Seminar on Internetworking P (5 cr)

Seminar topics

Available topics

The available topics for Spring 2015 are listed here. We are keeping the wiki page up-to-date as soon as we receive topic descriptions from tutors. You can also watch the wiki page and get automatic notifications of changes in the topics.

Instructions for requesting a topic

Pick five of the available topics and send a request by email to the course alias. The email should have "T-110.5191: request for topic" as subject and should contain the following:

  • your student number;
  • five chosen topics (namely, both their ID and their title) in order of decreasing preference (i.e., the most preferred first);
  • your transcript of records;
  • an optional justification of why you are interested in taking the course and your broad areas of interest (e.g., security, networking, mobile computing).

You need to be enrolled in the course (through Oodi) to be eligible for a seminar topic. The deadline for requesting a topic is Thursday (January 15) at 23:59 EET. We strongly suggest you to wait until the first course lecture (on January 12) to request seminar topics as the complete list will only be available at that time.

Each student will be assigned a distinct topic, based on the expressed preference, your background, and the timing of the request (i.e., first come first served). As there is a limited number of topics (and tutors) available, we may not be able to accommodate all requests but we will do our best to accept as many student as possible and to assign the preferred topics.
