Reminder: opponent reports deadline is near
Hi,
Thank you for participating this seminar. The last task you have is to send the opponent report. More instructions are in the requirements page.
As was warned in the last lecture, presence in the conference is compulsory and replacement work is given to those who are not present. I added instructions for those who missed sessions to the end of the above mentioned instructions in the requirement page. One session is forgiven, extra assignment is for those who missed more than one session.

Time to make final modifications!
Hi,
Almost all opponents and some tutors have commented the papers. Now it is time to do the final modifications! The next deadline is the final one, after that modifications are not possible. The papers will be published in the course proceeding on the Internet, so please do such a paper that you can be proud of!
Next week, the English teacher has one more time here to help you (check the schedule for details).
I'll check on Monday that all tutors have done their job and find them if they have not commented your papers.

Communication with course staff
Please (please, please, please!) ask your questions in course's newsgroup so that anybody can see and answer. Also, your tutor is the person who should help you (and if he/she does not know, he/she can ask from me, Sanna, or in the newsgroup if you are too shy).
Never just press "reply" to Noppa's news emails (at least use course's email address, but I do not give it to you here, since you should use the newsgroup).
First of all, please read instructions in Noppa first. About everything is already answered here/there.

Those students, who participated to the English course integrated in T-110.6120 last autumn, can get the one credit from the English course if they participate to the third English meeting on 3.4. and to the test other assignments given on that meeting.
If you have questions, please ask in the course newsgroup.

English course details (and contact instructions)
But first, please ask your general questions in the course newsgroup. "Next, your tutor contact you" means that the tutor send you email, not vice versa. They have still couple of days time for doing that (you can read the Tutoring page, too).
Please read first instructions on these noppa pages, then ask in the newsgroup or your tutor.
We have now agreed with the language center that one extra credit can be given for those participating to the short English course this spring (final approval is still waiting for the next board meeting of language center). The sort English course is still mandatory part of this seminar course. Only those students who took the T-110.6120 seminar course (student numbers are listed in English course page) are exempt from the English sessions, but participation is recommended for them, too.

Assignment for short English course: bring a copy of a published paper on Friday
All students should bring a copy of a typical published paper from the field of their study. As far as it is possible to know, this paper should have been written by a NATIVE SPEAKER/s (from USA, UK, Australia, Canada etc.) If two or more of you are working in the same or a similar field of study, then you may bring the same paper.
