This is the final record of attendance for this semester.

Next week we will have the final lecture of this semester. We would also like to hear some feedback on the course from you. Thus, after the last lecture we would like to have a very brief discussion with input from you, which will hopefully help us to improve the course for next year. Hope to see you all!

The deadline to register for the course was extended until 21.1. Unfortunately, due to re-organisation, the course's Noppa page has not been updated in time. This will be fixed in the next few days.

We have received most of the homeworks, however some are still missing. If you have not submitted your homework yet, please do it right away or notify us if you are not planning to do it. Some of the homeworks were sent back for improvement: please revise and send it again as soon as you are done.

Welcome to the Internet and Computing Forum in Spring 2014! The course will start on Monday, 27th of January at 16:15 in lecture hall T2. The first lecturer is Sami Honkonen from Reaktor Innovations: "How to fix work - what needs to change in today's work life and how to change it". Just to remind everyone, the deadline for the homework assignment is 31.5.2013. Guidelines for the homework assignment and a sample homework are available in the "Assignments" section. Furthermore, the lecture attendance list has been published and can be seen under "Results". As you know, only two (2) absences are allowed if you want to complete the course. In addition, if you do miss any lectures (max 2), you have to write a short descriptive essay (¿-1 page) on the topic of the lecture(s) you missed. The deadline for the essays is also 31.5.2013. Finally, fill the course feedback form that was linked to in the previous news item. To summarize, in order to complete the course you need to: 1) Have been present in all but two of lectures. 2) Write a short essay on the topic of the lectures you missed (deadline 31.5.2013). 3) Submit the homework (deadline 31.5.2013). 4) Fill in the course feedback form.
