We're organizing major's student meeting in playroom (A120) on 30.5.2012 at 16 o'clock. The event is casual and ment for major's, Nordsecmob and Mobile Computing students. Also, students considering selecting telecommunications as their major are invited. In the event, you can talk about study affairs with our three professors and personnel, and of course get connected with other major's students. Please participate to the doodle poll if you intend to come, so that we can order enough pizza and drinks. Welcome!

Dear students, please provide feedback for the course before the end of this month. According to T-110 policy, giving feedback is mandatory to pass a course.

Many students have contacted us about the problems in finalizing their submissions just before the deadline. While we will not postpone the deadline anymore, we don't want you to leave your work unfinalized, either. Our deadline is not strict by the minute, but some point reductions for late submissions may occur. Please note, however, that we appreciate much more a submission that is a bit late than a submission that is a total mess. If you submit your work late, please send us an email so that we know to wait for another version from you. Acceptable overtime is a couple of days at maximum. Please also state the reason of being late both in your documentation and in your email.

After a downtime of one and half hours, the server is back up. Please report any problems!

Our assignment server is currently down for some technical difficulties. We are already working on the issue and it will be fixed ASAP. If you need an extension to the deadline, please contact us by email. We apologise for the problems.

We also accept iOS 5 development platform for the mobile software assignment.

We extended the deadline for assignment 2. The new deadline is on Monday 19 March at 12:00 EET. All the email requests will be answered on this Wednesday. In addition, we have published some appointment times for Thursday and Friday (10 mins each, max. 2 per group) through Taru Appointment Scheduler for those who wish to discuss with an assistant in person.

The iOS lecture this week Tuesday was cancelled because the lecturer got sick. The lecture is tentatively rescheduled to 6.3.

Hello, Assignment 2 (social media and mashups) is available in Noppa. Please also check our general guidelines for the assignments. While assignment 3 (Mobile Software) has hit into some delays, we will publish it as soon as possible. Also the server environment documentation is in progress, it should be ready within a week. We apologize for these delays, please contact us if they cause you some problems. We have some reception times for the assignment 1 from 9 to 15 February. If you have problems with the first assignment or you would like to ask something related to it, please make an appointment with a course assistant. The appointments are available at Taru Appointment Scheduler, see the link below. The maximum number of appointments per student group is 2, the cancellation deadline is 2000EET on the previous day. For those that are interested, there is a version control lecture on the C programming course (T-106.3101) tomorrow (Thu 2 Feb) at 14:15. The lecture is given at T1.
