Research

The ongoing research in the Database Research Group deals with issues of the broader topic of database management:

• index structures for databases in various contexts (concurrency control and recovery when search structure operations are included in the transaction model, multiversion search trees, distributed trees, bulk operations, cache sensitivity, adaptive tree sorting)
• automata-based algorithms for online information filtering (XML publish/subscribe systems and dictionary matching).
