17.9. 16-19 lecture hall E Introductory meeting. The topic of the seminar, the course arrangements and how to apply for the seminar are explained. Participation recommended.
20.9. at 12.00 Deadline for signing up for the course  
23.9. at 12.00 Accepted students announced  
23.9. 18.00-19.30 T3 Scientific English part I Mandatory. Contact iwork@tml.hut.fi at the latest on 19.9. if it is completely impossible for you to attend.
23.9.- 25.9. Meet with your tutor to agree on a topic and to get you started. At the meeting, set the dates for your 2 feedback meetings with your tutor.
4.10. 16.00-17.30 T3 Scientific English part II Mandatory. Contact iwork@tml.hut.fi at the latest on 30.9. if it is completely impossible for you to attend.
11.10. at 16.00 Annotated Table of Contents Submit your Annotated Table of Contents to your tutor and to iwork@tml.hut.fi.
About a week after 11.10. Feedback meeting with your tutor Meet with your tutor to get feedback on your Annotated TOC.
1.11. Full paper submission Submit your full paper (as a PDF) to your tutor and to iwork@tml.hut.fi as a PDF and LaTEX (e.g. packed as a tar).
About a week after 1.11. Feedback meeting with your tutor Meet with your tutor to get feedback on your full paper.
Week 46 (11-16.11.) Tutormeeting, where the papers are checked and divided into posters and papers. This meeting is only for tutors and the course staff.
12.11. 18.00 in T3 Meeting with all students. The practical arrangements for the seminar in Sjökulla are explained and instructions for how to present the paper or poster in Sjökulla are given. Recommended.
18.11. at 8.00 am Camera ready submission Submit your camera ready paper as a PDF to your tutor and your opponent and as a PDF and a LaTeX file to iwork@tml.hut.fi. DO NOT BE LATE. The papers are gathered into one booklet starting at 8.01.
28-29.11 Conference in Sjökulla Mandatory. And fun!
6.12. Send comments on the opponing to iwork@tml.hut.fi  
Soon after 6.12. Grades are given and taken to the study registry.
