There were at least two things wrong in this example:
- SMTP is normally not used by hand - the E-mail client (e.g. Eudora) runs the protocol without the user ever seeing it
- Using a wrong sender identity in E-mail is unethical - however, it is worth while to know, that forging E-mail is quite easy
