NordSec 2010 Conference — Submission Instructions

Papers, short papers and posters

To submit a full or short paper for review, authors must follow the online submission procedure of the Springer Online Conference Service.

Full papers

Full papers must not substantially duplicate already-published work, or work submitted in parallel elsewhere. Accepted submissions may not appear in any other conference or workshop that has proceedings.

Manuscripts should be formatted using the Springer LNCS format and should not exceed 16 pages in length. Framemaker, Word and Latex templetes are available for download; please see under "LNCS Proceedings and Other Multiauthor Volumes". While strict conformance to the formatting instructions is not required for the pre-conference submissions, using the templates provided will save work later.

There will be an opportunity (about four weeks) to revise the papers after the conference before the deadline of the revised papers for the proceedings. The Springer copyright form will be required after the conference for the papers that are to be included in the proceedings.

Authors may choose to either include or leave out author names and affiliations. The names of the authors will be revealed to the reviewers where it is conductive to the review process.

Selection for presentation at the conference and publication in the proceedings will be based on originality, contribution to the field, and relevance to NordSec. At least one author of each accepted paper must register to NordSec 2010, attend the conference and give a presentation of the paper.

Short papers

Short papers will not be included in the published proceedings and may summarize work submitted for publication elsewhere. However, selected short papers will be invited for the printed proceedings. Short paper manuscripts should not exceed 6 pages in the Springer LNCS format.
