Spring 2011, 3rd study period and during the whole semester

  • Varying topic of Internetworking seminar (T-110.5190) enables students to familiarize themselves with interesting resent topics on data communication.
  • Internet and Computing Forum (T-110.6000) course present again interesting presentations from industry!
  • Special course on Information Security (T-110.6220) offers again famous "Malware Analysis and Antivirus Technologies"
  • Doctoral seminar (T-110.7190) has two instances: Security in Cloud Computing and Research Ideas in Data Communications Software.

Autumn 2010, 1s study period and during the whole semester

  • For the first time in autumn 2010, we offer own methodology course (T-110.6130) for data communication software students!
  • Topic of Network security seminar (T-110.5290) is "security services on the Internet". There is again possiblity to participate to Kie-98-1700 Integrated English course and improve written English. The seminar starts 6.9.2010.
  • Special course (T-110.6120) has two study groups, one for Mobile cloud systems and technologies and the other for Energy-awareness in mobile systems. First meeting is 6.10.2010 at 10-12 in room A106, and then the timetables are agreed on.
  • Again, our doctoral seminar (T-110.7190) is arranged together with University of Oslo as period course in September.
  • There are also new topics for special assignments (T-110.6100, T-110.6200) and individual works (T-110.6110)

Spring 2010, 3rd study period and during the whole spring semester

  • Internet and Computing Forum (T-110.6000) course present again interesting presentations from industry!
  • Special course on data communications software (T-110.6120) introduces a new technology: "Publish/Subscribe Interworking". Lecturer is our docent, Arto Karila
  • Special course on Information Security (T-110.6220) offers again famous "Malware Analysis and Antivirus Technologies"
  • Varying topic of Internetworking seminar (T-110.5190) enables students to familiarize themselves with interesting current topics on data communication: content centric services and networking.
  • Doctoral seminar (T-110.7190) is arranged together with University of Oslo and other universities.
  • Another doctoral seminar (T-110.7290) is discussion forum for our doctoral students.

Autumn 2009, 2nd study period

  • Doctoral seminar (T-110.7190) is organized as a SIGCOM study group whose chair is prof. Jussi Kangasharju from University of Helsinki and HIIT. Postponed

Autumn 2009, 1st study period and during the whole autumn semester

  • Special course (T-110.6100) offers again a CodeCamp! This time the topic is QT. The course starts 19.10.2009 and runs for a week.
  • Doctoral seminar (T-110.7190) is arranged as an intensive seminar in the beginning of September together with University of Oslo, Norway. Seminar starts 31.8.2009.
  • Topic of Network security seminar (T-110.5290) topic is "security policies, their specification and enforcement". Seminar starts 8.9.2009.
  • New! Together with Network security seminar (T-110.5290) students can take the integrated English course (Kie-98.1700) that is accepted as the required language course. More information in seminar's noppa page.
  • Introduction seminar for new Master's programme students (T-110.6120) starts 11.9.2009. It also includes integrated English course.
